Are the Condoms You Use Safe and Free From Defects?

People depend on condoms to prevent pregnancy and the transmission of sexually-transmitted diseases, such as AIDS, gonorrhea,
syphillis, chlymidia, and herpes. There is no doubt that next to abstinence, condoms provide one of the safest levels of
protection. People depend on manufacturer's claims that their condoms are safe and free from defects.

Recently, however, a brand of condoms called LifeStyles, manufactured by Ansell, Inc., has come under scrutiny by the Food and
Drug Administration (FDA), because several lots contained defects which could cause breakage during use. A recall resulted.

Also, Ramses condoms, manufactured by London International, came under Federal Trade Commission (FTC) scrutiny for unsubstantiated
advertising claims that Ramses condoms were 30% stronger than the leading brand and break 30% less.

Consumers are entitled to safe condoms. Consumers are also entitled to trust manufacturers when they claim that their condoms
are free from defects. Consumers are also entitled not to have false or unsubstantiated claims made by manufacturers.

If you suspect that you have purchased condoms that are defective or that don't do what they claim to do, we would be pleased to
hear from you. The Law Offices of Herbert Monheit helps people who have purchased products that are potentially dangerous or
defective. We also help people who have purchased products that have been found to have lies or misrepresentations on their
labels or advertising. We also help people who have been the victims of consumer fraud and misleading claims about products
and services. If you wish to initiate a legal investigation into the possibility of
