Leonard V. Fodera, Esquire
Mr. Fodera was born
and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He is an experienced civil trial attorney who
maintains a national practice of law concentrated in the areas of medical
malpractice, products liability, medical device, and pharmaceutical litigation.
Mr. Fodera represents plaintiffs in cases involving catastrophic injury
or death resulting from medical mistakes by physicians and other medical
providers, construction accidents, faulty medical devices, dangerous prescription
drugs, and defective consumer and industrial products. He is a 1989 graduate
of The Temple University School of Law and a 1978 graduate of La Salle University,
both in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Fodera has received multi-million dollar verdicts
for his clients at trial, and is a member of the "Million Dollar Advocates
Forum". He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and before the Federal
Courts of the United States. Mr. Fodera has appeared in matters before The
Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, The Superior Court of Pennsylvania,
The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, The Superior Court of New Jersey, United
States District Courts in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Illinois, Alabama,
New Mexico, Utah, Florida, and California, as well as The United States
Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Fodera is a member of The Association
of Trial Lawyers of America, The Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association,
The Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, The American Bar Association,
and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is a member of Trial Lawyers for
Public Justice and has been named "Advocate" by The Association of Trial
Lawyers of America. Mr. Fodera has also taught practicing attorneys trial
strategy and techniques for The National Institute of Trial Advocacy, and
has lectured on issues involving medical malpractice and wrongful death.
