David Alexander David Alexander
Mr. Alexander, a civil trial attorney, admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, concentrates his practice in the areas of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and toxic torts. He is an experienced trial attorney who has represented clients in all phases of litigation. Mr. Alexander has appeared on behalf of clients in Pennsylvania Courts of Common Pleas, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He authored the brief and presented the oral argument for the plaintiff in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in, Jones v. S.E.P.T.A., a case which turned on an issue of sovereign immunity. Mr. Alexander graduated from Duke University in 1975 with a B.A. in history and certification to teach secondary schools. He taught high school and junior high in North Carolina, Missouri, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He received a Master of Arts in Education degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1978. Mr. Alexander graduated from The Temple University School of Law in 1992.
Allison Long Allison Long
Allison Long is a civil trial attorney whose practice of law is concentrated in the areas of medical malpractice and products liability. She is a 1994 graduate of Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, PA. Prior to attending Widener, she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 1990. Ms. Long is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has handled cases in The Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, The Superior Court of Pennsylvania, The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, The Superior Court of New Jersey, and The United States District Court for The Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She is also admitted to practice before The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Ms. Long is a member of The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and The Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.
Andrew Schneider Andrew Schneider
Mr. Schneider's practice is concentrated in the area of personal injury law. He is a 1998 graduate of the Widener University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Financial Management from York College of Pennsylvania in 1995, graduating with cum laude honors. Mr. Schneider is our firm's newest associate, having been admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in May of 1999. Mr. Schneider is also a member of both the Philadelphia and Delaware County Bar Associations.
John R. Trotman, Jr John R. Trotman, Jr.
Mr. Trotman is a civil trial attorney whose practice of law is concentrated in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, and civil rights litigation. He is a 1995 graduate of The Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, PA where he was presented with the Barrister's Award for Outstanding Oral Advocacy. Prior to attending Temple, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Administration from Drexel University, also in Philadelphia, in 1992. At Drexel Mr. Trotman was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honors Fraternity and he graduated with Cum Laude honors. He is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has handled cases in The Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, The Superior Court of Pennsylvania, The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, The Superior Court of New Jersey, The United States District Court for The Eastern District of Pennsylvania, The United States District Court for The Middle District of Pennsylvania, and The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Trotman is a member of The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and The Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.
Support Staff The Support Network at Monheit, Silverman & Fodera consists of investigators, nurses, paralegals, and administrators, each trained to handle the complex work involved in preparing plaintiff's personal injury matters. Our investigators include former Philadelphia police officers, professional photographers, and computer research professionals. Our paralegals have each worked no less than five years in the field of personal injury law, and are able to directly assist and interact with our clients. The office utilizes two nurses for review of medical records and retention of medical experts. The practice is fully automated, using Law Manager software, allowing for instant retrieval of almost any information relevant to cases. This produces greater client awareness of the case process and status.
